Fire Department People Are Great

Can you belive it? It seems like every time there’s an animal that needs to be rescued, the first ones on the spot are usually the fire department people. They rescue so many pets and strays and wild animals. They must have hearts of gold–like my fur.
Look at this Internet link for the story of a little 8-week old kitten who got stuck in the elbow of some PVC pipe. Poor thing! It had no water or food for several days–of course, come to think of it, that was probably good because you sure wouldn’t want to get bigger when it was already stuck. I know it was scared though.
But, the fire department people got it out. I’m sorry that I’m calling the little thing IT, but I don’t know whether it is a she or a he. I’m glad no one calls me an IT.
Anyway, it looks like it’s safe now–of course, I didn’t read the article until a couple of months after IT got stuck–I’m sure it has a nice little home now.
